Guidance, Remediation, Academic Support Program

The GRASP Academic Support Program K-12 offers small group instruction during the school day. Students meet with the GRASP teacher for a total of three hours per week. The teacher works closely with the regular education teacher to discuss the academic needs of the student.

The GRASP program accepts students who have average to above average intelligence. The program is designed for the student with a learning disability and or Attention Deficit Disorder and not for the student with a primary emotional, social, or medical dysfunction.

The admission process includes:

  • An interview with the Director of Admission/or Director of Horizons Academic Support Program
  • An official transcript, copy of most recent report card, and teacher recommendations
